Tokyo reports over 120 COVID-19 cases Friday, State of emergency ?

After a break in number of increasing cases in Tokyo again the cases are increasing and identifying day by day to a new number and this time new cases are mostly among people in their 20s and 30s .

The top Govt Spokeman said on Friday, as cases in Tokyo raise to a 2-3 month high but still Japan has no need to rethink a state of emergency to tackle the novel COVID19.

As the The state of emergency was lifted on May 25. Over the last week new daily cases in the city have exceeded to 50, with Tokyo reporting more than 120 on Friday, up from 107 the day before,As per the Nikkei newspaper , as the virus spreads among and comes from nightlife workers.

This pandemic is dominating Sunday’s gubernatorial election campaign, with the incumbent, Yuriko Koike, looking set to win easily.

There were no fines or arrests for non-compliance although the state of emergency gave governors of Japan’s 47 prefectures stronger legal authority to urge people to stay home and businesses to close.
