Interior design startup Infurnia raises M from angel investors

Infurnia Technologies, a software company specializing in architecture and interior design, has secured a $1 million funding round from a consortium of angel investors led by Yogesh Chaudhary, the owner of Jaipur Rugs, and Bhupinder Singh, the former Chief Product Officer of Bentley Systems – a global leader in infrastructure design software.

The funding round also attracted participation from a number of existing angel investors as well as new business owners, including singer Jasleen Royal and celebrity management firm Cornerstone, founded by Bunty Sajdeh.

With this latest round of funding, Infurnia Technologies has raised a total of $2.5 million from angel investors. In the previous year, the company raised $800,000 in investments.

“We have built a rock solid technology base for modern architecture design software over the last 8 years. The cloud-native design technology is powerful enough to scale up to disrupt the $50 billion american design software giant Autodesk,” said Nikhil Kumar, CEO of Infurnia.

“This funding will enable continued technology development to dominate the cloud-native architecture and interior design software market and make inroads in the global market whilst strengthening our presence in the local market. With this fresh round of funding, we also look at gaining insights and business perspectives from industry veterans such as Yogesh Chaudhary & Bhupinder Singh,” Nikhil said.

Founded in 2014 by IIT Alumni Nikhil Kumar and Lovepreet Mann, Infurnia is a cloud-based platform that enables architects and interior designers to create designs for buildings, interiors, and modular kitchens.

The platform provides a comprehensive solution for design-to-manufacturing needs, offering a range of services, including design, rendering, virtual reality, documentation, price quotation, and manufacturing output solutions to businesses operating in the architecture, interior design, and modular kitchen industries.

“One of the main reasons to back Infurnia was their strong technology. Their offering has the potential to scale across geographies, and bring a large change to the tech ecosystem of the AEC industry. I look forward to working with Infurnia closely to reach new markets and increase the business figures in the coming few quarters,” said Bhupinder Singh.
