Bluesky Hits 10 Million Users Milestone

Bluesky Hits 10 Million Users Milestone

Bluesky, a social network, is now used by more than 10 million people. This is because Bluesky has grown very quickly in the past few weeks. A lot of people started using Bluesky after a different social network, owned by Elon Musk, was shut down in Brazil.

Bluesky is celebrating this milestone with a fun message on its home page. When you click a special emoji, you can see your unique joining number and share it with your friends.

Recently, Brazil’s top court banned the Elon Musk-owned network, which led to other social networks like Threads and Bluesky becoming very popular. Bluesky quickly gained 3 million new users after the ban, and now has over 10 million users worldwide.

Most of these new users come from Brazil, where Bluesky is now in the top 10 social media apps in the country. Bluesky’s platform has experienced a few glitches due to a large number of people signing up at the same time.

After being only available to invited users for almost a year, Bluesky opened up its platform to everyone in February. Bluesky’s rival, Threads, owned by Meta, has over 200 million users.

Bluesky recently added new features, such as the ability to post videos and control who can respond to your posts.
