Women’s grooming brand Sanfe has secured another round of funding of $1.5 million led by existing investors like S. Chand Family office, Seeders, Lets Venture, and angel investors including Abhay Tandon and Yash Kotak.
Sanfe had earlier raised $1 million in a series A funding round which makes the total funding $2.5 million.
The company plans to deploy the fresh funds to enter the offline market and control the femcare market, make foray across beauty salons, parlours for category creation, boost e-commerce sales to build propositions for the unserved market, and pursue celebrity partnerships to strengthen its presence and brand recognition, Sanfe said in a press release.
Founded in 2019 by Archit Aggarwal and Harry Sehrawat, Sanfe’s product line spans various areas such as body grooming, shaving and hair removal, and body care products. According to Aggarwal, Sanfe has collaborated with brands like Looks, Affinity, Urban Company, and Yes Madam and the startup will be able to serve women through beauty salons in their vicinity.
The Delhi-based startup claims to have grown by 100% in the current quarter and the brand has achieved over 240% growth annually. It also claims to have an active community of over 5 million users with around twenty-five percent growth monthly.
The company is further looking to tap more than 500 salons in the upcoming year across metro cities.
