Betafi raises .3 Mn in pre-seed funding

Unified user research platform Betafi has raised $1.3 million in pre-seed funding led by Together Fund, Entrepreneur First, and Titan Capital, along with participation of Nir Eyal and founders from companies like Razorpay, Pine Labs, Snapdeal, Livspace and others.

Founded by Arjun Arora and Ethan Sherbondy, Betafi is a moderated user research platform that makes it easy to capture, synthesise, and share feedback from user conversations. It helps companies find answers from user interviews, faster, and uncover usability issues before it is too late.

According to Betafi, it is redefining the UX research landscape by helping product teams to effortlessly conduct user interviews and usability tests to validate their ideas, designs, beta software and websites. The platform integrates with leading product design and collaboration tools such as Zoom, Miro, Figma, Adobe XD, making it easier to collaborate and build feedback loops in the product development process.

Betafi says it saves users up to 30% of total research time and effort, allowing them to focus on extracting meaningful insights to build incredible products. The company was co-created with customers and launched on product Hunt in September. Since then, usage of the platform has increased by 50% month-on-month, and users have done over 1,500 hours of feedback calls.

In July 2021, a group of SaaS pioneers in India announced the forming of Together Fund with an initial capital of $85 million. The fund would support young Indian software-as-a-service startups.
