Bengaluru-based Winuall, a social commerce platform that allows educators to share a wide range of curated courses with their students, has raised $2 million in a funding round led by Dream Incubator, Inflection Point Ventures, Prime Venture Partners, BEENEXT, and other strategic investors.
Founded in 2019 by Ashwini Purohit and Saurabh Vyas, Winuall is a social commerce platform that allows educators to share a wide range of curated courses with their students. The startup helps coaching institutes go digital by providing them with content and performance improvement recommendations.
According to the company’s statement, the raised capital will be used to enhance product and tech capabilities, hire across leadership roles and scale up marketplace business by onboarding more creators, content suppliers, and educators.
The startup said it has witnessed a 100% month-on-month growth and has sold over 35,000 courses in the last four months, it said. “We are break-even and on track to make our marketplace business profitable in the next three months,” said Ashwini Purohit, Co-founder & CEO of Winuall.
