Agritech startup Barton Breeze raises 0K led by angel investors

Agritech startup Barton Breeze, based in Gurugram, has secured $800,000 in a pre-series funding round led by angel investors, including prominent names such as Rajeev Bairathi (Ex CEO-Knight Frank), Neeraj Kumar (DSK Legal), Shishir Poddar (Tridents group), and others.

The five-year-old company plans to use the funds to introduce innovative products and value-added offerings in the market. Founded in 2018 by Shivendra Singh (CEO), Co-founders Gaurav Rai Chawla (COO) and Dicson Diclause (CMO) later joined the team. Barton Breeze is an agritech startup that grows crops through hydroponics. 

Additionally, The startup aims to expand its footprint by introducing 20 more SKUs in its FMCG range and further developing its farms across the Delhi NCR region.

The funds represent the first investment for the startup, which specializes in providing fresh and healthy produce to consumers through its vertical farms.
